Message After driving both quite frequently It's always a sigh of relief to get back into my Z because it's ergonomics, comfort, and most of all clutch. The prelude clutch engages not straight back, but rather in a downward arc, so my foot always slides above the pedal on to the bar. The prelude is a fun car to drive, and Has serious potential, I would be happy with one but it is built for someone larger framed then me.. (Im tiny).. So my arm isn't long enough to hit arm rest while hand is on shifter.. Also his doesnt have leather.. Leather preludes feel way more pimp. And then the steering wheel, yeah air bags are safe, but aftermarket would look way better.

However On the upsides.. (which outweigh in my opinion, The car gets almost 30 mpg, and takes 87 octane gas, yet it is still probally faster than your 2+2. My dad's old car got the exact same gas mileage as my Z and took premium, and He is always raving about the money he saves now. Also It Is worth way more than your 2+2. I would guess 16-17k. It is also very reliable.. no trouble whatsover..

Being me, I would get the prelude sell it and buy a nice low mile Twin turbo Z .. but hey it's up to you. It is hard to believe that this guy would be willing to trade down in value, but at the same time its not. Sitting side by side your car appears to be way more valuble. Why he doesn't just sell it and buy a Z I dunno.

Best Wishes.
